2. Platform independence and trademarks
RentDMs is an independent service operated by Antares Inc. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, X Corp., Snap Inc., YouTube, or any other social media platform or network. All product names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
3. Platform terms and account risk
Renting, sharing, or authorizing third-party access to social media accounts, and using automated or AI-assisted messaging, may be restricted or prohibited by the terms of service of the platforms on which those accounts exist. You acknowledge and agree that: (a) you are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the terms, policies, and rules of any platform you use; (b) RentDMs does not control those platforms and cannot prevent, override, or appeal their enforcement actions; and (c) accounts used in campaigns may be rate-limited, restricted, suspended, disabled, or permanently terminated, and RentDMs is not liable for any such action or for resulting loss of access, audience, income, or data. You assume this risk.
4. Recovery Guarantee — limited protection program, not insurance
The RentDMs Recovery Guarantee (and any “insured page,” “coverage,” or similar designation) is a limited, conditional service commitment offered by RentDMs. It is not a contract of insurance, and RentDMs and its affiliates are not licensed insurers and do not provide insurance products. The Recovery Guarantee is subject to its own program terms, eligibility requirements, conditions, exclusions, and limits, and does not guarantee that any disabled, suspended, or terminated account will in fact be restored. Recovery efforts (including re-warming, appeals, and redundancy routing) are provided on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis and may not succeed. Eligibility, scope, and any payout are governed solely by the applicable program terms.
5. No earnings or results guarantee
Any earnings, income, sales, conversion, reach, or return-on-investment figures shown on this site or within the platform — including in the earnings calculator, sample listings, statistics, and examples — are illustrative estimates only and are not promises or guarantees of results. Actual outcomes vary widely based on audience, offer, creative, pricing, market conditions, campaign execution, and factors outside our control. Past or typical performance does not predict future results. RentDMs does not guarantee that any creator will earn rental income or commissions, or that any brand will generate sales, bookings, or returns.
6. Automated and AI-assisted messaging
RentDMs offers automated, AI-assisted messaging tools (including the AI DM Closer). These tools generate responses programmatically, may produce errors, omissions, or inappropriate output, and should be supervised. Where used, the assistant is intended to identify itself as an automated assistant and not to impersonate the account owner. You are solely responsible for the messages sent through your authorized account, for any claims or offers made within them, and for compliance with all applicable laws governing electronic and automated communications, including anti-spam, telemarketing, consumer-protection, and electronic-communications laws in the relevant jurisdictions.
7. Advertising and affiliate disclosure
Campaigns conducted through RentDMs are paid, sponsored, and/or commission-based promotional arrangements. There is a material connection between brands, page owners, and RentDMs. Each participant is responsible for clearly and conspicuously disclosing these relationships to recipients and consumers as required by applicable advertising and consumer-protection law, including U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidance on endorsements and the equivalent rules in other jurisdictions. RentDMs does not assume any participant's individual disclosure obligations.
8. Data protection and privacy
Campaigns may involve the collection, processing, and storage of personal data belonging to followers and message recipients, including conversation content. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis and any required consent to process such data, and for complying with all applicable data-protection laws, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other regional privacy laws. RentDMs' handling of personal data is described in its Privacy Policy. RentDMs is not responsible for any participant's unlawful collection or use of personal data.
9. Marketplace role and third-party conduct
RentDMs provides a marketplace and software that connect independent page owners, creators, brands, and agencies. RentDMs is not a party to the rental agreements, campaigns, or underlying sales transactions between users, and does not act as the agent, employer, or representative of any user. RentDMs does not endorse, verify the claims of, or guarantee the conduct, reliability, or performance of any user, page, brand, product, or service listed or promoted on the platform. Reputation and “warming” scores are indicative tools only and are not guarantees of quality, safety, or compliance. You interact with other users at your own risk.
10. Products and services promoted in campaigns
RentDMs does not manufacture, sell, endorse, or warrant any product, service, coaching program, event, or offer promoted through campaigns on the platform. Any purchase made by a consumer is a transaction solely between that consumer and the relevant brand or seller. All disputes regarding products or services — including quality, delivery, refunds, and claims made — are the responsibility of the parties to that transaction.
11. Payments, escrow, taxes, and chargebacks
Funds processed through RentDMs (including base rental fees, commissions, premiums, and the 2.8× extension rate) are subject to the platform's payment and escrow terms, including conditions for holding and releasing funds, handling disputes, and processing refunds or chargebacks. Each user is solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes applicable to income earned or payments made through the platform. RentDMs does not provide tax withholding or advice.
12. Eligibility, matching, and moderation
RentDMs may set eligibility criteria for listing pages and launching campaigns, and may decline, pause, suspend, or remove any listing, campaign, account, or user at its discretion, including based on risk, policy, or platform-compliance concerns. RentDMs does not guarantee that any page will be rented, that any campaign will be matched or filled, or that any particular creator or brand will be available.
13. Service provided “as is”
The RentDMs platform and all related tools and content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. RentDMs does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RentDMs, Antares Inc., and their owners, affiliates, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, audience, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the platform — including account suspension or termination by a third-party platform — whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The full limitation of liability is set out in the Terms of Service.
